Tucker Ranch Recreational and nature complex

When we decided to take Rico on our Disney World trip, we were excited to have the whole family together. We drove, lodged at a dog-friendly hotel, Hyatt Grand Cypress, and knew he would be okay when we left to go to the parks for a couple of hours. However, during the end of our trip, as we planned on switching hotels to use our membership points, our plans hit a snag. We couldn’t check into our new hotel until 1pm, what would we do with Rico? After a bit of research, we found Tucker Ranch, the dog-friendly and free-to-enter park, not far from Disney property. On this beautiful day, with a slight a breeze, we explored a bit of Florida. The sight of wispy trees, that can’t be found in California or Indiana, where we are both from, signs of “beware of alligators” and the beauty of lush green grass and a still pond ignited a “new” Florida that we hadn’t seen before. We highly recommend taking a break from your vacations to visit Tucker Ranch.
