Juniper | Downtown Columbus, OH.
July 23, 2019– When we heard of a restaurant on the top of a building, overlooking downtown Columbus, we had to go. What better way to getting to know a city, right? Fine dining, a spectacular view and memorable experience, yes! After booking a 5pm reservation the night before, we arrived as the restaurant opened. Without a large crowd, the waiter graciously offered to take our photo. The skyline and convention center can be seen in the distance. The next hour was followed by a duck tots, an appetizer with a duck confit and bernaise for dipping, a shared meal of a Caribbean Jerk chicken breast, rice and Brussels sprouts, and a drink for each of us. Our shared love of food continues to bring us together.
Dec. 24, 2021–We have since learned that Juniper didn’t survive the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, as so many restaurants have suffered from, but we fondly remember our experience here. They will be missed.
