A’verde
After seeing their decadent “perfect for the gram” drinks online, along with the renown of Chef Kasuji Tanabe, a Mexico City native, we knew we wanted to try these dishes on our North Carolina trip. Each menu, from drinks to starters to entrees, proved hard to make a decision from, since everything looked wonderful.
For drinks, we settled on the #Take Me Back (Passionfruit-Infused Espolon Reposado, Blood Orange-Rosemary Shrub, Gran Gala, House Sour, Red Wine Float) and the Hot Mess (Hibiscus-Infused Del Maguey Vida, Dry Curacao, Fresno Chili, Lime, Meyer Lemon, Agave, Mexican Candy). Both were delicious and tasted like a getting dessert first!
For our starter we devoured the oysters, topped with chorizo and fresh habaneros. For dinner, Jordan enjoyed the Ribeye, Shrimp, Bacon Fajeetas, while I, Camille, enjoyed the flavorful root vegetable enchiladas (Roasted Japanese sweet potatoes, carrots, Guajillo sauce, fennel and arugula). Both were delicious and perfectly suitable to our personal taste pallets. Lastly, for dessert, we enjoyed the flan and churros.
Overall, we enjoyed that A’verde was inviting, low-key and above all, delicious. A’verde is a must visit for anyone in the Cary area.

I was so appreciative of the care products A'verde offered in their restroom.
